Someone on my FB shared the link I posted and commented with this:

Quote:
Such a warm & inviting Tea Party advertisement! My first thought is Copyright and Trademark lawsuit here.. this is a pretty aggressive tone for the Oregon Tea Company.. the ones who really makes tea!! Is Bush Jr running that Chapter?? lol.. DUH!!

I am clueless as to what this person is talking about.

One of the other people responding to that shits pure comedy gold.

Quote:
yeah i cant stand people who protest massive debt and the destruction of our liberties what a bunch of criminals

Later the same person wrote:

Quote:
obama is hitler

Thing is, I didn't even post it to start a political debate (political in this case meaning comments from frothing-mad Glenn Beck followers). I just thought it was funny that the Tea Party was quoting Anonymous and how stupid of them it potentially could have been.

They've stopped using it, but there will be no forgiveness.

Some Teabaggers wrote:
Anonymous: we appreciate your resources and admire your tactics. You have taught us more than you know. As requested, we are no longer using the 'anonymous' quote".

They're about to learn a lot more. This part of the quote really helps confirm a long-held conspiracy theory I've had:

Quote:
You have taught us more than you know.

There's a really long story behind this from 2008 that we had to deal with directly in the Minnesota Chanology cell, that involved FOX News, Sarah Palin, RedState.com, and the pre-Teabaggers. I'll regale Whisper with it sometime. Long story short, they ripped off Anon hard, and looked to the Chanology wing of the collective for tactical ideas after they were alerted to its existence through a particular incident involving Sarah Palin's emails.

I was just about to post that link here. :P

I didn't know the Mn cell had anything to do with the rest of the story. You must fill me in on that particular detail.

I live in Oregon and I haven't seen that sign. It's probably in the eastern hick territory.

I'm actually doing a '2 years later' story about the incident and will release it here at Whisper soon.

It turned into an impromptu FB raid or something.
I've never had so much fun on that site. Probably shouldn't have used my real account... but whatever. I dodged the B&hammer and made some new friends.
