*I'm only linking to the torrent so curious people can download it to see if they or someone they know are on it.*

Tl;DR: Someone made a bot that compiled millions of Facebook user's public data. While I'm sure most of The Whisper's FB users are smart about their privacy settings, the issue with this information is that if you're friends with someone who isn't as smart about e-privacy, if this bot snagged their info, it probably got yours too. Or at least, that's what it seems like to me at first glance. I figured I'd post this sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I saw this, and it's pretty sick. Corporations are scum. The cult is worse. That the scifags continue to partake in shit like this means that while they've been weakened by the internet's efforts to kick them repeatedly in the balls, they're still struggling for life.

This isn't a big deal, because all of the info downloaded was already publicly available by the Facebook users. People with strict privacy settings didn't have their shit broken into.

It is a black eye to these companies that they're so desperate to learn about your info that they'll swipe it from the Pirate Bay. :p
